Swim Level Name, Skills, & Focus

Level 1 Starfish Starters
Perfect for beginners! Swimmers learn to feel comfortable in the water while practicing supported floats, gentle kicks, bubble blowing, and safe pool entry. Introduction of basic water safety.
• Water comfort • Blowing bubbles • Assisted front/back floats • Supported kicking & arm movements

Level 2 Minnow Movers
Swimmers become more independent with short unassisted floats, glides, and beginner kicks. They'll practice putting their face in the water and exploring movement with confidence.
• Independent floats • Kicking on front/back • Front & back glides • Intro to treading

Level 3 Turtle Trainers
Swimmers start real stroke skills! They’ll learn basic freestyle, beginner backstroke, rollover breathing, and jump-and-return techniques that build independence.
• Coordinated arm + leg action • Beginner front crawl • Beginner back crawl • Intro to rotary breathing • Deep-water comfort

Level 4 Dolphin Dashers
Your swimmer builds endurance and improves freestyle and backstroke form while learning the basics of breaststroke and diving.
• Front crawl with side breathing • Improved back crawl • Intro to breaststroke & dolphin kick • Basic diving skills

Level 5 Shark Swimmers
This level strengthens technique and introduces breaststroke, dolphin kick, and longer distances. Swimmers also work on dives, turns, and confident treading.
• Proficient front & back crawl • Breaststroke basics • Elementary backstroke • 25–50 yard swimming

Level 6 Manta Masters
Our most advanced level focuses on endurance, stroke refinement, racing skills, and pre-team readiness.
• All four strokes introduced • Competitive starts & turns • Endurance & efficiency building • 100–200 yard swimming Elite Orca Elite • Advanced stroke technique • Speed & pacing work • Legal race starts & turns • Pre-team readiness
